Web portal for technical installers

Netrising has designed and developed for FAAC an integrated system composed of a web portal for technical assistance and a mobile App meant for clients, technicians, installers and authorized FAAC dealers.

SAT Italia web portal

The web portal of Servizio di Assistenza Tecnica, SAT Italia, was completely renovated, starting with the modern and practical layout, with the addition of new features including a photo contest for installations made with FAAC products.

The portal allows accessing technical information on FAAC products and automation, such as the guidelines of the regulations and the Machinery Directive, the manuals and technical files.

Mappamondo

The portal is multi-language, currently available in Italian and English, but prepared for the addition of other languages.

Thanks to the FAQ section (Frequently Asked Questions with answers) and the numerous instructional video tutorials, the portal meets different support needs, directly from one’s desk.

Utente

Profiled access (client/reseller/technician) allows showing specific content to selected groups and users. This way, those who access the app find the information meant for them right away.

Collegamento

In addition, it is possible to consult the original spare parts catalog, and it is possible to download dedicated software and firmware directly on the PC.

The portal makes use of the data present in the previous system adopted by FAAC. This facilitates the users of the website because they can find all the information they were used to find and it is an advantage also for the manager because it allowed not to have to add again the same contents.

Mobile App

The FAAC App, for iOS and Android™ systems, is created for the Specialists and Partners, the Repair Center and electric material installers.

It allows participation to the photo contest by sending directly the photos taken from one’s smartphone.

Thanks to the push notifications, users are updated as soon as new documents and info are added by the FAAC technical team

The photo contest awards the installations made by the electric installers signed up on the web portal.

The functionality developed by Netrising allows loading photos onto the App by taking a photo with the camera or selecting a photo taken earlier. Once the photos are loaded they appear in the active contest Gallery. The most voted during a certain period will win a caption and the visibility on the social FAAC network channels.

Training courses

The training courses section allows professionals not to miss a single appointment and sign up with ease.

The functionality developed by Netrising allows professionals to consult training courses planned for every FAAC location, choosing the date of participation and reservation one’s place. In any moment, it is possible to check what classes one is signed up for and verify if there are new ones available.
